A Black Princess – For Generation Z Anything Else Would Be Boring!

Disney has just rounded out its multicultural royalty and added its first black princess – Princess Tiana. Tony Award-winning actress Anika Noni Rose takes on this enchanting role.  

"This feels amazing," Rose, 36, told PEOPLE this week at the Manhattan unveiling of the toy line for The Princess and the Frog. "Not only is she the first black princess, she's the first American princess. We've never had an American princess. So, the scope and the significance is larger than people even realize."

While this made news today and is significant to many Generations - to the global generation (Generation Z) that has known nothing else but cultural and gender diversity anything less would be viewed as surreal or even boring.
